VW has been offering discounts on the Vento for a while now. The company is now offering the discount of Rs 90,000 on the top of the line Highline Plus model, which was recently introduced. It now features LED headlamps as well.  The sedan comes with a few engine and transmission options. It can be had with a 1.5 liter diesel making 108 Bhp and 250 Nm (both manual and DSG), a 1.2 liter TSi petrol unit with 103 Bhp and 175 Nm (DSG only ) and a 1.6 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine making 103 Bhp and 153 Nm.

Skoda Rapid

Skoda unveiled the new Rapid late last year. The company is selling close to 1000 units of the new Rapid since then. The company is offering a discount of upto Rs 90,000 on the new Rapid, which makes it a good bargain. It comes with the same engine option that the Vento gets, except the 1.2 liter TSI engine. The Rapid gets a 1.6 liter naturally aspirated engine instead.

Hyundai Verna

However, since the introduction of the Ciaz, the sales of the Verna have dropped drastically. The company is now offering Rs 80,000 off on the diesel version and Rs 70,000 off on the petrol version. There is an all-new model slated to launch sometime next month which means if you want a good deal on the Verna, now is the best time for it.

Maruti Ciaz

The Ciaz diesel has been one of the few vehicles which has seen a hike in prices post the GST. This is due to the mild hybrid system it has. The company is now offering a discount of upto Rs 70,000 on the Ciaz diesel. It is powered by a 1.3 liter engine making 89 Bhp and 200 Nm.
