Mercedes unveils post GST price list

Post the implementation of GST ( Goods and Services Tax), a lot of car manufacturers have made their cars cheaper, especially the luxury ones. Mercedes has finally sent out their model-wise pricing of their whole line up and this is what it looks like now.

AMG

The A Class, which is their smallest hatchback is the cheapest Mercedes on sale currently. It comes in either a petrol or a diesel engine option in only one variant, Sport trim. The petrol is a 1.6 liter unit making 121 Bhp and 200 Nm while the diesel is a 2.1 liter unit making 134 Bhp and 300 Nm. While the petrol is priced at Rs 27.45 lakhs, the diesel is priced at Rs 28.45 lakhs.

The B Class, which is the company’s larger hatchback is the next in line. It too comes with the same engine options as the A Class and is priced at Rs 29.45 lakhs for the petrol and Rs 30.45 lakhs for the diesel Sport variant.

Next is the company’s smallest sedan, which is the stylish CLA. The CLA can be had with 2 engine options as well, a petrol and diesel. While the diesel is offered in 2 variants, the petrol only comes in one variant. The petrol is the 2.0 liter unit making 181 Bhp and 300 Nm while the diesel is a 2.1 liter unit making 134 Bhp and 300 Nm. The petrol Sport is priced at Rs 33.38 lakhs and the diesel Style is priced at Rs 30.64 lakhs while the diesel Sport is priced at Rs 34.33 lakhs.

Next is the GLA and it comes in the following variants. The petrol only comes in sport, priced at Rs 32.20 lakhs, the diesel comes in 2 engine options and 3 variants. The Style (Rs 30.65 lakhs) and the Sport (33.85 lakhs) have the same 134 Bhp engine while the 220d 4-matic Sport gets a larger output of 168 Bhp and 350 Nm (Rs 36.75 lakhs).

The C Class model range looks like this. C200 Avantgarde Rs 40.52 lakhs, C220d Style Rs 38.55 lakhs, C220d Avantgarde Rs 41.85 lakhs while the top spec C250d (204 Bhp and 500 Nm) is priced at Rs 44.83 lakhs.

The newly launched E Class comes in 3 variants. The E200 starts at Rs 54.56 lakhs, the E220d is priced at Rs 55.52 lakhs while the top spec E350d (3.0 liter V6 255 Bhp and 620 Nm) is priced at Rs 67.49 lakhs.

The GLC petrol which is the 300 (2.0 liter 241 Bhp and 370 Nm) in Sport trim is priced at Rs 50.37 lakhs while the diesel 220 Style is priced at Rs 46.49 lakhs and the Sport is priced at Rs 49.98 lakhs.

The GLE comes in 3 engine variants, the 250d priced at Rs 61.89 lakhs, the 350d priced at Rs 71.73 lakhs and the 400 petrol (3.0 liter V6 333 Bhp and 480 Nm) is priced at Rs 72.06 lakhs.

The GLS is priced at Rs 79.85 lakhs for the 350d and the 400 petrol.

The S Class, which comes in the Connoisseur’s edition only is priced at Rs 1.17 crore for the 350d and Rs 1.28 crore for the 400 petrol.

The S500 Maybach is priced at Rs 1.79 crore while the S600 is priced at Rs 2.53 crore.

The AMGs have seen a drop in price as well. The CLA 45 AMG is priced at Rs 72.65 lakhs, the C 43 AMG is priced at Rs 75.09 lakhs, the GLA 45 AMG is priced at Rs 75.21 lakhs, the SLC 43 AMG is priced at Rs 79.42 lakhs, the GLE 43 AMG Coupe is priced at Rs 91.87 lakhs, the C63 AMG S is priced at Rs 1.34 crore, the GLS 63 AMG is priced at Rs 1.60 crore, the G63 AMG is priced at Rs 2.08 crore and the AMG GTS is also priced at Rs 2.08 crore.

Among their Cabriolets, the C300 is priced at Rs 60.87 lakhs, the E400 is priced at Rs 77.11 lakhs and the S500 is priced at Rs 2.08 crore.
